Here's some of the things I'm thinking of implementing:
An application to generate ATC programs so that it isn't necessary to sit and
fumble with a text editor for hours and hours.
A more fancy user interface.
Speech. At the moment I'm using TextAssist, maybe I should also implement
some kind of .wav interface like ATP.
Speech recognition. This may be possible with the VoiceAssist program (another
awe32 card)
A STAR control which can manage a STAR arrival. This would make it
possible to create a database of arrivals, and thereby lower the size of the
*.atc program.
Some way of handling TOD (top of descent).
Some way of handling frequency shift when changing center.
Missed approaches.
Secondary airports.
An database containing aircraft parameters such as flap speeds, final approach speeds etc. So that the same program can be used for different aircrafts.
Creating a pseudo win95 comport driver, so that I can do away with the require-
ments for 2 com ports and a serial cable.
Any ideas, suggestions or comments to this list are VERY welcome!
I might, however, stop this project when (if? <g>) FSFS arrives.
